My professional experience has varied from working in community mental health, private practice, substance abuse clinics for mandated clients to being the clinical director of a school for teens with mental health issues. I have also engaged in therapy with survivors of trauma (physical, sexual, emotional and interpersonal) as well as individuals who struggle with chronic mental health issues. My trauma informed care perspective of therapy includes a pragmatic approach to continual improvement of my client’s mental health.
