Jennifer Geltz is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in the Sandwich office of Centennial Counseling Center. She is passionate about helping individuals recognize their strengths and develop new coping skills to navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful growth.

Jennie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois, and her Master’s degree in Social Work from Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois. Her graduate work focused on supporting school systems, adolescents, and families within their communities.

She brings extensive experience from her work in a local community mental health and addiction treatment agency, as well as collaboration with area school districts. Jennie specializes in supporting women, men, adolescents, and families facing co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns. She works to motivate clients toward positive change while centering the therapeutic process around each individual’s goals and vision for healing. With families, Jennie provides education about mental health and substance use challenges and guides them in strengthening communication, resolving conflict, and fostering healthy growth.

Jennie, a registered yoga teacher, also integrates yoga and meditation as somatic approaches to trauma healing, offering clients body-based tools to support recovery. She provides compassionate guidance for individuals processing grief and relationship loss, helping them move toward clarity and renewal.
