Developmental Disorders

Centennial Counseling Center provides psychological evaluations for a wide range of developmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder and attention-deficit/ hyperactivity disorder. Specifically, we evaluate presenting concerns and symptoms, developmental history, academic and/ or occupational history, cognitive and intellectual functioning, social, and emotional functioning.
Testing includes the completion of an initial intake appointment, diagnostic clinical interview, symptom-inventory assessment, cognitive & intellectual assessment, and social-emotional functioning assessment. Treatment recommendations are included to provide an individualized treatment plan for each person’s specific needs.

Centennial Counseling Center provides educational and academic testing to evaluate learning disorders in both children and adults, as well as academic disability testing to determine appropriate academic accommodations recommended individualized to each person’s specific needs. Specifically, we evaluate presenting concerns and symptoms, developmental history, academic history, cognitive and intellectual strengths and weaknesses, academic functioning, & social-emotional functioning.
Testing includes the completion of an initial intake appointment, diagnostic clinical interview, symptom-inventory assessment, cognitive and intellectual testing, academic achievement testing, and social-emotional functioning assessment. Treatment recommendations are provided to determine recommended appropriate academic accommodations individualized to each person’s needs based on academic or cognitive impairment.

Centennial Counseling Center provides diagnostic clarification evaluations for a wide range of psychological disorders, including anxiety, depression, mood, personality, and other mental health conditions and concerns. Specifically, we evaluate presenting concerns and symptoms, level of impairment across different domains of functioning, cognitive and intellectual functioning, social, and emotional functioning.
Testing includes the completion of an initial intake appointment, diagnostic clinical interview, symptom-inventory assessment, cognitive and intellectual testing, as well as social and emotional functioning. Individualized treatment recommendations are provided and individualized to each person’s specific presenting concerns and diagnostic impressions.
Medical Pre-Authorization Evaluations
• To determine psychological functioning in preparation for medical procedure or surgery (i.e., bariatric surgery, pain management, etc.)
We provide psychological testing services and pre-authorization evaluations for individuals referred for various medication procedures, including bariatric surgery and pain management, to provide psychological assessment to help identify mental health issues that could impact an individual’s pre- and post-surgery preparation, recovery, and post-surgery lifestyle changes.
Testing typically includes an initial clinical interview that focuses on behavior, psychiatric symptoms, and understanding of the surgery, cognitive functioning, adaptive functioning, psychological adjustment, and readiness for surgery.
