Post-doctoral Clinician

Olivia Fales earned her Doctor of Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from Midwestern University College of Health Science in Downers Grove, IL. Prior to entering graduate school, Olivia worked in the medical field as a phlebotomist and direct care aid working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Prior to joining Centennial Counseling Center as a post-doctoral fellow, Olivia completed her clinical psychology internship at Centerstone Health Services in Columbus, Indiana, where she provided psychological testing and therapy services to individuals in a primary care-based community mental health setting.

At Centennial Counseling Center, Olivia provides psychological testing and evaluation services to individuals seeking diagnostic clarification, appropriate treatment recommendations, academic accommodations, and those referred for a variety of reasons from both internal and external sources. Olivia uses research-validated assessment measures to examine a person’s psychological, cognitive, and social-emotional functioning, which can provide useful clinical insight regarding the clarification, confirmation, or rule out of a psychological condition and answer specific questions about a person’s well-being. In addition to providing psychological testing services, Olivia works with individuals in therapy using a Person-Centered Therapy approach, grounded in the foundation of positive psychology, providing empathy, support, and unconditional positive regard to meet each client’s individual and unique needs. Olivia works with clients across the lifespan, including adolescents, college students, adults, and older adults. Outside of the therapy room, Olivia enjoys spending time outdoors in nature, connecting with animals, and propagating her many houseplants.
